Remember Me? Friday Update Edition
Holy cow has it been a while!
Sorry about that, if you are a dedicated follower :)
We have been on the go and enjoying these last few weeks of 100+ weather (hopefully it's the last) or what other people call Summer.
Here is a little bit of what I will be updating you on in the next few posts.
1. Caleb turned 1!
Are you asking yourself how that is even possible? ME TOO!! But it is true, my baby is now a toddler and we have lots to catch up on with that.
2. Caleb got his first haircut!
Have you been loving all of those luscious locks he has been rocking? ME TOO! But it was time and it went awesome. I have tons of before, during and after pics to share with you.
3. We went on VACATION!
It has been our first vacation since Caleb was 2 weeks old and we loved being away. We got to spend time with family and enjoy some new things we've never done before. Look out for those posts.
4. Gallery Wall!
We did it! We finally did it! We completed the beginning stages of our gallery wall in our living room and I couldn't be happier with it! AHHHH! It only took 18 months, but who is counting, right??
5. CALEB is 1!
Oh I already mentioned that? Well here is a cute picture of our big boy just to get you through the rest of your Friday!
Have a great weekend and come back next week for lots of new posts on all of the above plus more! :)

End of July
Linking up with Karli and Amy
::ONE:: We booked a vacation and will be leaving in 10 days! We are going to CO to see our family including our newest nephew LOGAN! :)
::TWO:: I have written and scheduled 6 posts! 6! That has been unheard of since I've had Caleb I'm pretty sure!
::THREE:: We are at the last day of the Move Your Booty Challenge and I can say that I have completed it!!! I am so proud of myself! Now let's hope that I'm the lucky gal who wins the moolah!!
::FOUR:: I got Caleb's party invitations in the mail last night. I am so excited and sad all at the same time. But like it or not he will be 1 in a little over a month and it is time to get in gear and make this party happen! Friends, family - check your mailboxes next week for your invite!
::FIVE:: I am starting my 31 different outfits in August challenge tomorrow and I can't wait. I am excited about these challenges. It is a good way to keep my mind focused and it gives me an ultimate goal to go after. Are you joining me?

It's Friday? Thank Goodness!
It's Friday and I couldn't tell you the last time I linked up with my favorite farming gals, Karli and Amy.
ONE: CALEB'S FIRST BIRTHDAY
I know I'm a little early, but my baby will be ONE in just a little over a month! How is that possible?!? **queue all of my mommy heartstrings and tears** We will be throwing him a little shindig at our house Labor Day weekend and I have already ordered the invitations. I am so happy that Karli decided to open her newest adventure Party Paper and will be helping us out with matching paper items for his big day. Nothing more exciting then matching items at a birthday party!
TWO: LOGAN BRADLEY WISSINGER
We are so thrilled that our newest nephew has joined the world. My sister-in-law and brother welcomed their newest bundle of love to the world on Tuesday morning and we are all in love. They live in Colorado and we are hoping that we will be able to make it out there next month to meet him. Auntie and Uncle can't wait to give him baby snuggles!
THREE: MOVE YOUR BOOTY CHALLENGE
I joined my gals Karli and Amy for the Move Your Booty Challenge which has a goal of taking 200k steps in the month of July. I knew that my work would make that hard but that is why it is called a challenge, right? Well I am happy to announce that with 7 days left I only have 46k left - completely doable! Although I am not kicking ass in the step department, I will complete this challenge and it has been holding me accountable. I have lost 1 pound since July 1st, which is awesome considering that I am doing no other exercise besides these steps. LOL. Thanks gals!
FOUR: GARAGE SALE
Last weekend we held our first garage sale. I was super excited to earn some money and get rid of stuff that we never use. The morning started out great and we were making money. I was on a high. As the morning continued and the sun made it warmer outside things slowed down and I lost my motivation. Overall, it was successful and we made money that we didn't have before. We plan on putting everything out again tomorrow and trying to get rid of the rest of it. Whatever doesn't sell tomorrow we will try to consign on base and after that it will get donated.
FIVE: FUTURE PLANS
Is it weird that I am excited for our family pictures in October already? Is it odd that I am already thinking about what our Christmas cards will look like this year? I can't help it, but I am so excited for this year of holidays. Caleb will be old enough to really enjoy things and it just makes us so excited!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Maybe next week I will be able to finally blog about fourth of July and what we have been up to lately. :)

Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Happy Friday to you all!
Linking up today with Karli and Amy
Linking up today with Karli and Amy
::ONE:: New Car!
Yes! Yes! Yes! This makes me a very happy lady! I still love it and I know this feeling won't be changing any time soon! It's been almost a week without good ol' Tori, but I know that this new ride is going to treat me just as good as she did for the past 4 year!
::TWO:: These Shorts!
They came in the mail last night and I couldn't be more excited! Jordan, of Blue Avenue, has some of the cutest items and all throughout my pregnancy I couldn't wait to order her stuff because it was just sooooo cute! And now, I'm not pregnant and can clearly rock these bright coral shorts! Go check out her site and order something fun! Best thing is...they are on a super sale right now and FREE SHIPPING!!!
::THREE:: Eleventh Avenue
Previously known as GroopDealz, Eleventh Avenue is on point! I just ordered these adorable pillow cases that will finally give us some matching decoration in our living room. They are a nice subtle pattern with the perfect amount of grey in them! The best part...they were only $4.99 each! Shush up! 4 new pillows for $20! Can't beat it!
::FOUR:: Urban Decay Naked Palettes
Last week, Jordan of Fun Cheap Or Free, let us in on an amazing deal! Jane had all three of these look-a-like palettes on sale for just $12.99 each! She made it known that she didn't know if they were the real deal or actual look-a-likes but I went ahead and ordered them because they look so similar and were such a great deal! Well, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, but she posted this week that she got hers in the mail and they are the real deal! If this isn't some of the most exciting news I don't know what is! If they are in fact the real deal, I just scored all three Urban Decay Naked Palettes for $49.99 including shipping! That's cheaper then one palette brand new at Ulta! So be on the look out for the most excited face picture popping up on IG soon! :)
::FIVE:: Oakley Outlet
Last weekend, before we bought the car, we stopped at the Vacaville outlets. We never go there, but while we were there I convinced Ryan to let me look for Caleb clothes if he got to go into the Oakley store :) We went in and Ryan looked into getting replacement lenses for his sunnies. He is rough on sunglasses but needs good ones so we always get him Oakley ones. The replacement lenses were $90! Umm...not going to happen bucko. You can wait until you need a whole new pair which is only $120. Well the sales kid must have heard me say that, quietly, and offered to give us the lenses for $60! Score! Then Ryan told me to get new ones. Why are women's sunnies so much more expensive? The ones I love were $250! Not going to happen. The same kid saw me all sad over the price and told me to check out the section in the back. Walked back there and found the exact same sunnies for me without polarized lenses for $69! Then he told me he would give them to me for $45! Ummm....YES!!!!!!!! Found Ryan a t-shirt for $10 and we were ready to check out. They open everything up for us to check them out and my glasses came with a soft case. Ryan was jealous that it came with a case at all and I told him, "Yeah. My old ones did too, but they came with a hard case." A different kid behind the counter heard that and asked if I liked the hard case better. I answered with yes and he took the soft one and came back with a hard shell case! We made out like bandits there! Now to let these new sunnies of mine last another 4 years like my last pair :)

I hope you all have an amazing weekend!!!

5 Exciting Things
Linking up with Karli and Amy as always this beautiful Friday morning.
//one
I will write a more in depth post about this next week, but we have paid off major debt this month and we are soooooo excited about it. Look for that soon.
//two
I finished the Serial Podcast yesterday and it had me hooked. It took me less than a week to listen to all 12 episodes and I kept wanting more. I will say - without spoiling it, although I'm pretty sure I am one of the last people to listen to it - that I was a little disappointed with how it ended. I wanted more! I had questions that I feel as though I need to email Sarah with so that she can try and answer them for me. LOL. Did you like it?
//three
We are almost a week and a half into Lent and giving up soda is hard. I knew it would be, but I am tempted daily. On the plus side? I've lost 2 pounds since I stopped drinking them! Whoot! Whoot!
//four
Last Thursday I got rear-ended on my way to work and this week we finally heard that the other party does have insurance and is accepting full liability! Thank goodness! My car needs to be repaired and I didn't want to have to pay my deductible for something that wasn't my fault.
//five
We are done with our first week of letting Hank out later in the morning because we have an awesome family that lives next to us. We haven't gotten any more complaints about his barking and as annoying as it is, I'm glad that I don't feel worried about it anymore. Plus I'm pretty sure Hank likes the extra attention during the day and snuggling in his kennel while it is still a little chilly in the morning.
********************************
Overall, we had a great week this week. I have some exciting posts coming next week - hopefully, if I can find the time this weekend to write them.
Hope you all have a great weekend! Can you believe it is almost March already???
PS!!!! Don't forget to enter this awesome giveaway!!!

Thank Goodness It's Friday!
We are linking up with Amy and Karli today.
Five things that are on my mind today
ONE
These Ponte Leggings! I just got the black pair for my birthday and I am in love with them! I amprobably definitely late to the game on these, but I already went and got the same pair in gray and can't wait to find other colors. I love them so much I might even dedicate an entire post to talking about them. LOL. Fashion blogger? I think not. But a comfy mommy blogger? YES indeed!
TWO
EOS Lip Balm. I first got one in a baby shower gift from my cousin. I had always heard of them but never used one. I started using it in July, when I was very much pregnant and my lips needed some extra attention, and have been hooked ever since. I got the Summer Fruit as a gift and then went and bought the Pomegrante Raspberry. For Christmas my mom got me Strawberry Sorbet, Honeysuckle Honeydew and Lemon Drop. I am so excited!
THREE
Lamaze Toys! My little snuggle muffin has multiple Lamaze brand toys and he loves every single one. They all jingle and jangle, make scrunchy noises and entertain him to the fullest. I wish I was the inventor of these. GENIUS!!!
FOUR
I have yet to complete my new recipe of the week, but I printed it out and have every intention of completing it tomorrow. Better at the end of the week than never, right? :) I can't wait to post all about it next week.
FIVE
My wonderful friend, Marie, is working on a new design for my little ol' space and I can't be more excited! She worked wonders for me just over a year ago and now that we have a little and things have been changing I thought it would be nice for this little space of mine to get a little makeover as well. Here is some inspiration we have for the new design.
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and weekend! Come back next week for more updates on our life andhopefully a recap on how my pinterest recipe went! :)

Oh Hey, It's Me!
Geesh, do you even remember me? It has been far too long and I don't really have much of a good excuse.
Let's start with the basics. Linking up with September Farm and The Farmer's Wife today for Oh Hey Friday!
{ONE}
I started working again. It has been two full weeks and they have been better than I expected and harder all at the same time. I am blessed beyond belief at the fact that my wonderful mother gets to watch Caleb all day for me. To imagine leaving him with a stranger - because let's face it, anyone who isn't family and watches him at this point is still a stranger - is unbearable. I'm so glad that she, the hubs and my in-laws ever so graciously volunteered to help me/us out in doing so.
{TWO}
I decided when I came back to work, on December 1st, that I was going to wear a different top every day of work and not have any repeaters for the month. Sounds good right? I am lucky enough to have this opportunity. So far I am doing great and have put together 10 different outfits and can't wait to keep challenging myself for the rest of the month.
{THREE}
Parenting is hard. I didn't think it would be a walk in the park, but it is definitely more challenging on days then I thought. I will elaborate more on this next week, but just remember, that the village is real and it is a lifesaver!
{FOUR}
Christmas is less than 2 weeks away now! Can you believe it? That also means that it is almost my birthday and the start of another year. I can't believe how fast it has gone by and how much has changed. I can't wait to do my yearly recap. Check out last year's if you'd like here.
{FIVE}
My baby is 3.5 months old. Once again, life has gotten a hold of me and blogging took a back burner and I haven't posted his 3 month stats or letter yet. It also is on the schedule for next week. A little late, but never forgotten. He is such a big boy and growing so fast. I love this stage he is in right now, he is a happy loving boy who has my heart.
Happy Friday Y'all!

Killing The Hoarder and Facing The Truth
It's Friday again and that means we are linking up with September Farm and The Farmer's Wife today for Oh Hey Friday!
Let's get it started shall we??
[ONE]
My mom came over again yesterday, two weeks in a row now, and we busted through boxes in the garage! I have about 6 boxes full of stuff to donate, one box of items to sell and at least 4 bags of trash and recycling. I still have a little bit to go through, but I am super proud of myself. I realize that if I haven't looked at it or used it the entire time Ryan and I have been together, 5 years, then I probably don't need it.
[TWO]
Facing the truth is hard to do, especially when it is the fact that I only have one more whole week at home with my baby boy. ::cue the tears now:: I will be returning to work the 1st of December and although I am ready, especially financially, I will miss him terribly.
[THREE]
When I was cleaning out boxes from our garage yesterday I found a $25 giftcard to TARGET!!! Score! Talk about happiness! I will be going today to see if I can find some items on sale that I can wear for work, especially in the bottoms department, girlfriend isn't sure she can fit in her work pants yet. LOL.
[FOUR]
I started working out this week, like for real working out. I am doing the Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 DVD and Ilove her curse at her the entire time. Last time I did it, 3 years ago, I lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Here's to hoping it works again :)
[FIVE]
The hubs' birthday is in 12 days, my mother-in-law's birthday is in 28 days, Christmas is in 34 days and my birthday is in 41 days. We have a very busy month coming up and I only have one present purchased out of the 11+ we have to give. Start the panicking now!

Happy Friday!
Linking up with September Farm and The Farmer's Wife today for Oh Hey Friday!
ONE: SLEEP
This week my little baby, Caleb Tyler slept for at least 8 hours every night!!! I woke up freaking out each and every night convinced that something was wrong because he hadn't woken me up yet. Nothing wrong, of course, just him becoming even more of a big boy.
TWO: FALL
Halloween is over and it is November so that means that we now decorate for Thanksgiving and Fall. My mom came over yesterday and we decorated the house.
THREE: GOALS
Remember on Monday when I talked about my goals for the month? Well this week we have been killing it and have gotten a ton done! We have finished hanging things in the nursery, moved the rocker into there, took down Halloween, decorated for Fall, organized our closet...geesh! We are doing soooo good!
FOUR: TWO MONTHS
My baby turned two months old this week. I am still in disbelief. I am so happy to watch him grow but also sad because it means that I only have a few weeks left at home with him.
FIVE: RECIPES
I am determined to start cooking more this month. I went through and listed out about 20 meals for us for this month's dinners. /recipes are always appreciated and I'm sure some more will be appearing on the blog after we have them :)
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Friday!
What I am currently...
Smelling: Dinner cooking. I am trying to get better at cooking dinner for the hubs now that I am home with the babes while he is off at work. It has been going well this week :)
Loving: My little family. I love my boys. The hubs is absolutely my rock and Icouldn't wouldn't want to do this thing called Parenthood without him. Hanky is rebelling but I still love him. I know that he just needs more attention from us all everyday. We are working on reassuring him that we still love him just as much as before. Caleb is a gem. He is 4 weeks old now, although I'm not sure how that happened. He is literally our everything and we are loving every minute of being his Mommy and Daddy.
Seeing: The hubs feeding Caleb and Hanky is passed out on the kitchen floor. It's a hard life being the protective big fur brother to Caleb all day while Daddy is away :)
Wanting: Ice cream. I think I always want ice cream though. I haven't had any in almost 2 weeks! Can you believe it? But I think it might be a little longer until I get any considering my post from yesterday. Did you miss it? I'm on Operation Pre Baby Body and am serious about it :)
Dreaming: About the day that the babes will sleep 8 hours straight. :) We are getting close with 5 hours on the first shift of the night. I am hoping that he will get there by the time I go back to work. It would make my days at work a little more pleasant for everyone else :) But until then, we are totally loving every second of having him around, even if it is just an eat, sleep and poop routine at this point.

Last 5 on Friday for January!
Today I am linking up again with Darci for 5 on Friday.
{ONE}
It is the last day of January! How is that even possible?!? I swear we just got Hank yesterday (December 20th) and had my 25th Birthday (January 1) I am in amazement with how fast this month flew by! Well we can only hope that it means that we were just having so much fun!
{TWO}
Ryan and I will be having a fun-filled weekend full of grocery shopping and cleaning house! :) LOL I am sure I am much more excited about this than he is. We are in desperate need of food in our house and we have slacked on the house cleaning for the most part since the beginning of the month. Laundry, dishes and vacuuming are on our list of things to do!
{THREE}
Ryan won't be completely bored this weekend! It is the big game and we will be making a few stops at some friends' houses for the event! We are very excited to go see some people and enjoy the game and commercials! :) I am rooting for Mr. Peyton!
{FOUR}
Currently I have an obsession with Mac N Cheese. Now I always love me some BlueBox, but lately I could eat it what seems like everyday and for every meal! It is just so dang good! And my favorite is, of course, the spirals!!!
{FIVE}
We are just two weeks out from our Colorado Winter Family Escape and I am so excited! We are going to try for the next two weeks to eat in every meal except for the two Saturdays! We are looking to stick to a budget this month and I am confident (thanks to my husband being so optimistic) that we will!
Happy Friday Y'all!

5 on Friday! 2014 Edition!
Today I am linking up again with the Darci for 5 on Friday. This is the first one I have done in 2014, which I can't believe! Without further ado:
{ONE}
I am so ecstatic that it is finally FRIDAY!!!! This last week - and I mean since last Friday - has definitely kicked my ass. Work was not fun, although lately I'm not sure it ever is. Maybe time for a change in the near future? That is another post for another time. And who am I kidding, I won't be doing anything about my job for at least another year, if ever, but complain.
{TWO}
I am having a birthday party with my family tomorrow for me and my Grandpa's birthdays :) Although my birthday was forever weeks ago, we only get together once a month for the adult birthdays in my family. That way we don't have to reschedule our lives every weekend for the next birthday. It works out nicely. I can't wait for the ice cream cake!
{THREE}
I cannot believe we are already half way through January! I feel as though we just had Christmas and my 25th! This year seems to already be flying by.

Ryan and I made some calls and emails yesterday to try and start the process of getting a house! :) I couldn't be more excited! Our lease is up in April and I don't want to extend it for any amount of time. I am hoping our demands wants aren't too much while looking and that it comes somewhat easy for us :) Fingers crossed!

I am thinking about going back to the gym next week. I know, I know..."thinking about it Sara?" But I am really hoping to do it. I went 4 days a week while Ryan was deployed and I had success. I am hoping that we can both get in a routine and still have fun with it. Ryan will most likely want to start going a lot due to an upcoming test that will require him to be in excellent shape when he passes! :) Wish us luck!
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and weekend! Next week I am going to try and post all 5 days! I haven't done it since the #12DaysofBlogging and I really want to make that a goal of mine. Also, I want to finish the wedding recaps and get moving on to bigger and better things that have happened in our lives since then :)

Five on Friday - last one in 2013
I cannot believe that this is the last Friday of 2013!! The year is wrapping up and so are the holidays. As much as I love Christmas - and believe me, I do! - I am happy to have my house back in "normal" shape.
Today I am linking up again with the ladies of 5 on Friday.
{ONE}
Our house is back to "normal" as I stated above. Last night after dinner the hubs and I took down the ornaments, lights, garland, tree and other decorations around the house. As sad as it is to take it all down it had a good run. It survived our journey to get it, bring it home, keep it alive and keep it from being attacked constantly from the pups. One thing we learned this year, both of our furbabies like the taste of pine trees apparently. This might have to be our last real tree but I will probably be okay with that.

We found out yesterday that we will be adding a new addition to my family! My cousin in Washington announced that her and her husband are expecting their first child on their Christmas card! It was so cute and we are all soooo excited! She is due in June so we are all hoping that they make a visit to California before she pops out little Baby Moz. :)
{THREE}
Hank Hughes - the newest addition to our family if you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram - has finally slept through the night last night! That's right folks...our little bundle of joy slept 8 whole hours last night!!! We are on cloud nine and couldn't be more excited. LOL. We have barely been making it 4 hours at night this whole week that we have had him. Last night he decided to be an angel - probably because he knows how tired his mommy and daddy are - and slept the whole night and no accidents! We feel like superheroes this morning. Ignore the over excitement and just let me have my moment please :)

This Christmas was the best one yet. I keep thinking that there has to come a year where it doesn't beat out every one before that - but I have yet to find that. This year, Ryan was home! Biggest thing by far for me. Nothing was more special than getting to spend Christmas together. We started the morning off by spending time with our furbabies. Ryan and I did not do gifts this year due to getting Hank Hughes just a week before and because being together is all we needed. We then went to my mom's house for breakfast and presents. My mom spoiled us - and the dogs - as she always does. It was the first year that I didn't wake up at my mom's house on Christmas - a little strange, but we survived :) We then went home and spent the rest of the morning and afternoon with our little family of 4 snuggling on the couch and watching TV. For the evening we went to my in-law's for dinner and more gifts. Dinner was delicious and we, once again, got spoiled. My mother-in-law got everything on our list this year. We are sooooo set now. :) We ended the night with our pups just as we started it. It was an amazing Christmas. :)

My birthday - quarter of a century! - is in 5 days! I can't believe it. I feel like I just turned 24 a couple months ago. I am so excited that Ryan will be home this year for my birthday too. We will be going out to dinner for Chinese food like I have done every year on my birthday since I can remember. I love that we do this and am so glad that my parents started that tradition many moons ago.
I hope that you all have a great Friday and lovely weekend. Enjoy it! Last one of the year!!!

Five on Friday
ONE:
Today is Friday the 13th! 13 is my favorite number ::insert superstitions here:: and who doesn't love a good Friday??!!? I am excited for a date with the hubby tonight. It won't be anything fancy just dinner with possibly another couple but it is the start of our weekend and we could not be more excited!
TWO:
Our Christmas cards came in the mail last weekend and I finally got them out of the mailbox on Monday and they were stuffed, addressed, stamped and on their merry little way Tuesday morning. I am hoping that they all make it to their homes in time for the holidays ::we had some difficulties with our thank you cards for some weird reason::
THREE:
The 6th Annual Suits and Staches event is tomorrow night! This is an annual party put on by a group of guys that we know at one of our local bars that is just a night of good fun. All men must have facial hair and women must have a fake stache on their finger. The women must be in dresses and the men in suits and each year there is an additional theme that must be adhered to. This year is Masks and Monocles! We are soooo excited!
FOUR:
It is hunting season, which also means that my husband is usually out most Saturday and Sundays trying to get us some geese and duckies ::yes, we eat what we kill, don't hate us:: Tomorrow he was chosen to go on a Wounded Warrior hunt just a little bit north of us and he is oober excited ::my words not his:: Since he will be gone I will be baking :) Possibly posting a recipe this weekend.
FIVE:
Last but certainly not least is a big ol' thank you to the blogging world! I have felt so influenced to write this week and can't wait to continue. I love the link-ups that I am participating in and can't wait to see where they take me. I am getting involved in button swaps and sponsorships too. I am loving the blogging world and loving this new outlet that I have in my life. Thank You!!!
Happy Friday!
