Oh Bachelorette!

I have never been a part of "Bachelor Nation."  I have never watched an entire season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.  I love reality TV and it is right up my ally but I usually miss the premier and once you are one 2-hour episode behind, it is hard to catch up, especially now with a baby at home.

With all of that being said, I was determined to watch this season of The Bachelorette.  I love Kaitlyn and was praying that she was chosen.  I probably still would have watched if it was Britt, but I am so happy that it is Kaitlyn.

Now I have been keeping up my commitment, to myself, and have watched every episode thus far and let me tell you...it stresses me out!  And come on Bachelorette producers...quit dragging things on each and every episode!  As a new audience member I am not liking this "To Be Continued..." each episode.  I thought we started each episode with a new week and ended each episode with people going home?  Instead we are sending people home in the beginning and then have to wait until the following week for another results show....ugh!  Not liking it at all..

But let's talk about this drama that I love and hate all at the same time.  Without giving away too many spoiler alerts in case you haven't caught up yet, what is this girlfriend doing???

I want Corey, Jonathan and Ryan to go. They seem pointless and like they have no connection going on.

I hate JJ, who doesn't?  I can't believe he was ever married before and has a baby.  But I guess that is also why he is divorced?  LOL.

I love Shawn!  He is my favorite for her.  He seems to love her so much already and it breaks my heart to see him so sad about not getting more time with her.

I also like Joshua.  He is so sweet and cute.  But how has he never been in love?  At least thought he was in love before?  Good thing he is a cutie, but I think he has a little bit of a jealous side that is going to come out very quickly.

I like Jared, but don't like him at the same time.  Maybe it's his hair??  I mean, what is with everyone's hair on this show?  They all seem to have the same weird haircut.  Is that in and I am just really out of the loop?  Should I convince my hubs to get out of the military so that he can grow some luscious locks and have a swoop hair style too?

I am seriously annoyed with the twist that they threw in this week too.  It is annoying and I get why the men are upset as well.  But at the same time, that's what makes good TV, right?  I hope that you all know what I am talking about, but since I really hate spoilers I'm not going to say it.

Now if you love recaps as much as I do, then you must, must watch Jordan Page's Bachelor Backtalk each week.  Her and her husband, Bubba, watch the show and film their reactions and give their opinions.  It is hilarious and genius all at the same time!

Well I doubt I will do another recap anytime soon, but make sure that you check out Jordan's videos for her weekly recap.

Shows I Stopped Watching Because...

So to piggyback off of yesterday's posts on shows I would love to re-watch, I thought it was interesting how many shows I have never finished...that I actually liked!

1.  Pretty Little Liars
I love it.  I watched it from the beginning, had it set on my DVR forever and sadly stopped watching.  I didn't stop watching because I stopped liking it, but because I got so far behind I always said I would catch up and never did.  I would love to pick up where I stopped (which I think was the end of Season 4?) but we will see.

2.  Scandal
Same as above.  I got so far behind and just haven't had a chance to catch up.  I hear it has gotten AH-MAZING and hopefully this summer I might be able to catch up for next season.

3.  Revenge
I LOVE Revenge but got behind and have been slowly trying to catch back up, just in time for it to be cancelled.  I must admit that I only have 2 episodes left to watch from Season 3 and all of Season 4 is on my DVR so I can binge watch my little heart out!! :)

4.  LOST
My mom and I used to watch this together and then I got too far behind, she finished it and I was left in the dark.  I know how it all ends, but I still think it would be good to go back and watch it and figure it all out for myself.

5.  The Good Wife
I don't know how I fell out of watching this show but I did.  And just like Scandal, I heard that it got great!  Is that true?  Should I re-watch it all?

6.  Dexter
My mom got ahead of me and this is yet another show that I stopped watching because of that.  It honestly is too much for me to watch in the dark, due to the fact that I am a complete scared-y cat, but I could handle episodes during the day probably. LOL.

7.  Orange is the New Black
I love this show and one rainy day back in April 2014, the hubs and I binge watched 5 episodes and somehow never finished.  We need to get back on this show.

8.  Bones
I honestly binge watched all 6 seasons of Bones in less than 2 weeks when Ryan was preparing for deployment back in 2012. I caught up just in time for Season 7 and was obsessed.  Somehow, once I moved and deployment life was setting in, I lost it.  I am now 2.5 seasons behind I think?  I really do love Tempe and Booth :)

Shows To Re-Watch

As many of you probably know, I am a bit of a TV junkie!

Give me all of that drama and non-fiction storytelling wrapped up into a 30-60 minute slot and I am all about it!

Now also given that it is officially summer time in TV land and all the shows are no longer airing new episodes I thought it would be fun to take a look at shows, current and cancelled, that I would love to re-watch, from the beginning!

Now while we are going through this list, let's pretend that I don't have an adorable 8-month old babe needing 100% of my attention all the time and a loving husband who doesn't love the same shows as me, or to binge watch - there must be something wrong with him. LOL!

Let's get started shall we?

1.  One Tree Hill
ALWAYS!  I have re-watched a ton and always start at different seasons, but I would love to go back through and watch all the way from Season 1, Episode 1 to Season 9, Episode 14 ::the bonus episode with commentary:: 188 episodes in all.  I love Sophia Bush and loved the show while it was on from 2003-2012.  I am guilty of watching, recording, saving episodes over and over again. :)

2.  Friends
AHHHHHH!  And thanks to Netflix this is completely possible now.  I grew up watching Friends with my mom!  We would record or watch live each and every week.  And now, my hubs and I watch reruns when it is on TBS and still love it.  I don't remember each and every thing from the show so to go back and re watch it in it's entirety would be awesome!  236 episodes.

3.  Grey's Anatomy
Once again, I have watched since the beginning, but it has been 10 years now and that is a lot to remember.  While I am current on the show I would love to go back and watch the earlier seasons to remember how we got to where we are.  And I can't believe how they are ending this season and it makes me very curious as to where it will go next year.

4.  Alias
I almost forgot about this show, but how could I?  I was obsessed with it!  I for sure thought that I could be a spy.  LOL - yeah right!  But how cool was Jennifer Garner in this show?  Let me re-watch all 105 episodes right now!

5.  Gossip Girl
I love me some Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen.  I don't even remember all the little details about the show but I could knock out the 121 episodes :)

6.  Crossing Jordan
I love murder-mystery shows.  I am a huge scared-y cat but this was a good one that I wouldn't mind re-watching if I had the time.

7.  Army Wives
Isn't this a given?  I watched every episode, and although I didn't like the last season very much, I would still re-watch the entire series - tears and all, because let's be honest, you know I cried at least once a season.

8.  Charmed
I loved this show from the beginning and I actually have the entire series on DVD because my mom was soooo nice to get it for me one year for Christmas.  I have seen every episode at least twice, if not closer to 5 times, but it never gets old for me.
