Today my husband's unit, Bravo Company, 1st of the 126th, celebrates the life of one of their own. Michael Anderson was a fellow helicopter door gunner with Ryan in Afghanistan. It was devastating news when we got the call that he and his twin brother had been killed in a car accident a little over a week ago.
I pray that him and his brother are at peace up above and that his mother and family members find peace in their passing as well. I know that it is not something that will go away overnight or even in the next month, but eventually it will get easier.
Please embrace your life and love what you have. Be thankful that you are here and able to hug or call your loved ones.
